Steve grew up in the Army remembering well his Dad’s multiple deployments to Vietnam. He was commisioned in the Army from the United States Military Academy and soon married his sweetheart,

Carleene. Their wedding was held during the week between Airborne and Ranger Schools. Steve served in the Army for 28 years for various command and staff positions as an Infantry officer retiring as a Colonel. They raised four children while serving in assignments around the world.

Steve has served on the National Council for Officers’ Christian Fellowship, been a leader in Christian Embassy, and along with Carleene are Associate Staff with Military Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, where they have been speakers for marriage enrichment to the military. Carleene currently serves as the Titus II mentor for the International PWOC board. Her passion is to help military wives realize their potential in Christ, to know without a doubt that in marriage “a three cord strand is not easily broken” and to encourage wives to grow in their relationship with Christ through prayer. Steve and Carleene’s ministry focus and passion have been to strengthen military marriages by teaching Christ as the center of marriage. They have joined DNA Military as full time missionary staff at Fort Bragg.

Steve and Carleene have four adult children including their son who is an Army Ranger.  They enjoy the blessing of eight grand children.
